Bug Description

I saw that in Oneiric-proposed that there was a new fix to Compiz that prevented some sort of crash between Unity and Compiz brought on by pressing Preferences in CCSM. Unfotunately everything froze and I had to hard shut my computer. Now Unity fails to load the panel and the top bar shows only places. I cannot log out by any means nor can I press the super button for anything (the panel IS gone!)
I really don't feel like reinstalling.
I even had to go to Nautilus and access Chrome through /usr/share/applications
Pressing the power button to bring up shut down, restart, etc. does work.
Again, this does NOT affect Gnome Shell nor does it affect Unity-2d.

I opened CCSM and saw that most of my settings had been altered. The Unity Plugin was turned off, so I re-enabled it and resolved all conflicts. All is good now.
