Bug Description
At present Google gives relatively poor snippets of content when it finds pages from Launchpad, typically containing a lot of the header text and not a lot of interesting content.
It could do better if Launchpad pages were marked up with http://
For the sake of defining how long the bit of string is, this bug could be considered complete when at least the main bug page has some amount of markup on it, as that's a very commonly hit page. We then can see if that actually improves the results.
(This is not Google-specific; Yahoo, Bing and others recognize similar formats.
see also bug 869609.
