Bug Description
Hi,
I have trouble booting my V10 Snowball with the 11.10 Linaro Android release.
First, U-boot doesn't find the right script file:
Reading boot.scr
** Unable to read "boot.scr" from mmc 1:1 **
Partition info retrieved
Reading /uImage
The boot script on my SD card is 'flash.scr', no 'boot.scr'
The second problem is that the kernel tries to boot on the internal MMC (eMMC), and therefore waits forever for the root filesystem to be mounted:
[ 0.000000] Kernel command line: console=
...
[ 13.337371] Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk1p2...
[ 17.737579] av8100_hdmi av8100_hdmi.0: HDMI display probed
[ 17.826995] av8100 0-0070: chip version:2
[ 19.487274] av8100_hdmi av8100_hdmi.0: Framebuffer created (av8100_hdmi)
I tried to remove and insert the microSD card, and this shows that it was bound to /dev/mmcblk0:
[ 97.823577] mmc0: card 1234 removed
[ 112.495666] mmc0: host does not support reading read-only switch. assuming write-enable.
[ 112.504150] mmc0: new SDHC card at address 1234
[ 112.510833] mmcblk0: mmc0:1234 SA08G 7.41 GiB
[ 112.525726] mmcblk0: p1 p2 p3 p4 < p5 p6 >
I added the full log for information.
Cheers,
Michael.

The bootscript issue is known and being worked on. There are instructions on the android snowball release page telling users what boot cmd line to put in.
With the right kernel boot cmd line the board comes up properly.
