The key works on Ubuntu 32-bit version 11.10. Also in the 64-bit version. If you have a subscription, try enabling roaming to make it work. Let me know if it works and make sure that credit has not been scaled.

Hi Fidel, thanks for the reply.

the credit is ok, and the previous key I useded with my Wind sim card worked perfectly (manifacture onda, I don't remember the model).
What you means when you say:
>try enabling roaming to make it work

I think the problem is that:

I can't see it!
I think I had something to do to "abilitate".
Or, maybe, it will be broken, but in this case, how to know?

Io ho la stessa chiavetta, coincidenza! e a me funziona correttamente.

http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php?topic=401198.15;wap2 ?

I did not understand if you want to fix the bug in the kernel or if you want your key functions. I have the same key, a coincidence! and to me it works properly. 11:10 Now I use Ubuntu 64-bit for the obvious reason that I have a 64-bit machine. Obviously you use the 32-bit processor, because you have a rather old. However, I first used the machine on the same 32-bit and the key worked. To run it you should go the network icon at the top, go to "edit connections", then mobile broadband, then "add", you should recognize the pattern and then you can continue the installation. For it to work properly you have to leave at the end of the installation enabled roaming and choose connection type "any". I would recommend this to you if you have a Wind with a lifetime subscription. Otherwise you do not recommend it. Of course this does not fix the bug, we do not know solutions, in fact I posted the bug to allow programmers to correct it, but you can use the stick. If you have a Wind unlimited subscription, try a quick connection and double-check your credit, credit scale if you do not want to say that although there is a bug on linux or on its drivers, the key still works.

It 'a final attempt, try it if you keep it good, but I assure you nothing.

Hello Fidel

I do not have the technical expertise to resolve a bug,
I bought a stick to give it away and does not work.
I then consulted the forum of reference where I have not found an effective solution.

So I guess this is a bug or just a stick does not work, but the answers given commands that I posted earlier led me to believe that the problem was not the key, so I responded to this request for information and Question to # 178145.

What has not properly performed the procedure proposed in
http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php?topic=401198.15; WAP2?
try again later.

The problem is that:
> go to "edit connections", then mobile broadband, then "add", you should recognize the model
It does not recognize the model, and here I am stuck for several days: (

I personally can not update information with apport because currently use 64-bit Ubuntu 10.11 and the bug does not affect this operating system. When I reported the bug I was making some tests on some operating systems to see which was best for my needs internet access. But I understand that Gabril Feligiotti have the same problem on Ubuntu 11.10, which I honestly have not found. Perhaps he could clarify his situation. I remember that I asked Gabriel to bring a new bug report on this matter and that the problem he found was not exactly in line with this bug report.
