I was installing skype and then suddenly got stucked i did restart my pc.. afterwards my laucher panel & the taskbar is not to be seen..

thanks for the bug report. Can you start 'Ubuntu 2D' session from the password screen, there run a terminal and type 'unity --reset' if unity starts, log back into 'Ubuntu' session and let us know if the problem is fixed.
