Bug Description

With the latest release of the Ubuntu One Music App, it is now possible to create a playlist without errors.

However, I can not find any possibility to edit/delete existing playlists, which makes it impossible to get rid of the playlists I created simply for testing.

Am I overlooking something, or is this a bug?

Thank you for taking time to report this.

It is more of a missing feature, than a software bug. We do, naturally, acknowledge it's a missing piece.

Currently to edit a playlist you can launch it (Play all), tweak the play queue, hit Menu > Save playlist and use the same playlist name as the one you have loaded. Not very user friendly or intuitive. However, we do have UI revamp on our roadmap, which should bring way better user experience.

Marking as wishlist for now.

Michal, thanks for explaining the feature was never implemented.

I was given the impression the functionality existed because of reviews like http://www.ubuntu-unleashed.com/2011/04/ubuntu-one-music-on-android-just-got.html and http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/04/ubuntu-one-music-android-app-adds-new-features-support/ , which were apparently incorrect.

Does anyone know of a possible workaround to delete existing playlists?

To comment on your workaround for editing, by the way, I must elaborate that I had already tried saving over an existing playlist with the same name, but it did not overwrite the previous one. Instead, I now have 2 playlists with the same name.

Can't wait for the revamped UI to be released!
