Bug Description

igloocommunity.org is hosting a private git where proprietary binaries/code are hosted and it is only accessible via public key authentication. Jenkins needs to be authenticated with igloocommunity in oder to enable the inclusion of proprietary components in snowball android builds.

This should depend on providing click-thru license support on the UI side (i.e. it makes no sense to add support to build stuff from protected repository until we'll be able to protect resulting downloads). Please link to a blueprint/ticket for implementing click-thru in UI.

Paul: Who are you talking to at Igloocommunity to get the keys sorted out? I can introduce you to whomever you need to. Mathieu can do as well.

I'm not working on this ticket (not assigned to me). Danilo started on
UI part of this, so maybe he'll be looking into this too. And yes, I'd
assume Mathieu would provide already prepared credentials to use, or
guidelines how to set up that. But indeed makes sense to parallelize
this, Mathieu, can you please make sure that we have a separate (from
your personal for example) account for this, with needed set up on Igloo
side? Thanks!

Mathieu, please suggest if this was superseded by vendor tarball pushing to builds slaves we implemented as part of click-thru work, or is this still needs looking at?

The Igloo Community site hosts the vendor tarball at

  http://www.igloocommunity.org/download/android/ics/binaries/

This is of course behind the usual click-wrap but the download can be automated by supplying the acceptance-tracking cookie with a download tool. It is considered accepting the license in case anyone does that by hand.

A ssh-keys based solution is possible, if preferred but that would mean a dedicated user for this and I'd like to avoid that.

Anmar, Mathieu, what is the current status of this? If there're no updates and pressure to implement this, it looks like it should be closed as out of date?
