Well, they don't have the same effect under Unity, instead, the Dr. Geo's icon appears on almost every file (.zip, .deb, .jar, folders...) under Nautilus. It seems that .gvfsd does not exist anymore?
To heal my Oneiric Ocelot (sorry, I don't report from the same computer right now), I had to make it run with /dev/null instead of the png's name, and erase the thumbnails which are in "normal" folder.
