Once again 10 minutes after my last report. The gtk -window-deco crashed but it is still visible when window is maximized. Screenshot attached.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you report is missing a stacktrace. Without that, it doesn't contain enough information for a developer to begin work on it.

Please enable Apport (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport#How_to_enable_apport for details), and then trigger the crash. You will be given the opportunity to submit crash data to Launchpad and create a new bug report. If it doesn't happen, open your file manager, navigate to /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit.

I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

@ Dmitry Shachnev

This thing Compiz lacks engineering. Its poorly written code is a problem, not the missing stacktrace.

Tend to agree with #5

ALWAYS Been getting segfaults like these with 11.10, 11.04, 10.10, and 10.04
and never seems fixed. Random Xwindow crashes no matter what driver. ATI propr, or ATI radeon Opensource, or framebuffer.
