Hello, new to Ubuntu...
I don't believe this is related to bug#804943 as it is now fixed by Bug#773172, I followed Jibel comments,
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
During the install it would have been nice to include these commands automatically during the wizard database repair option.
all works fine now
