What did you do exactly there? According to the log you did not try to install the driver.

Then the log is not right. I tried to install and only install the old driver version, but does not allow the installation of the driver post-release.
This is the information that I get when I try to install it using gui interface jockey: Consult the log files for more information: / var / log / jockey.log

The actual package install went fine, but it seems to have misconfigured (or not configured) the alternatives. Alberto, can you please have a look?
