Bug Description

Could be my abilities coming through (or lack of??), but after 2 runs on a fresh Lubuntu 11.10 install, I was unable to boot beyond the splash screen. My first run was with a slightly modified relinux.conf, changing usernames. Second time was unmodified, still no go. With 0.2.1b1 I was able create an ISO with an unmodified relinux.conf file, also on Lubuntu 11.10.

Coincidentally, the makeup of the relinux.conf file in 0.3.0a1 did seem to have more functionality to it, and the layout seemed improved. The options presented are a bit easier to make sense of.

No, this is not invalid. This is a critical bug. I think the fix is in the latest BZR release.

I am not sure why it shows that I changed the status to invalid. I changed it to a question after I posted it, maybe that is it. In the future I will be more cautious about better delineating my posts.

The fix works, the live dvd will boot to the desktop and so far everything works. It boot to Unity by default (opening other question).

This bug will be completely fixed in relinux 0.4. The current fix can cause problems with more advanced users of relinux.
