Bug Description

every time when I switch between virtual screens an orange rectangle just like in the screenshot appears and stays right their either flushed towards left or right and goes away once I restore the application window running on the virtual screen from its maximized state. Application window that is running does not matter; I have tested same problem with a number of applications such as firefox, eclipse or gedit and so on. I t appears to be like a place holder waiting to show something.

please make sure once you switch between virtual screens to move mouse pointer to either left or right edge of the screen to see the orange rectangle appear almost immediately either left/right depending upon the direction of the cursor was moved to.
