*Ubuntu FIrefox has incorrect text input size

Bug Description

All versions of Ubuntu have form input size incorrectly defined. This problem does not appear in Fedora 16, or on Windows 7, but in all variations of Ubuntu. Test deck is a listed below. and image provided.

The problem is that Ubuntu is my main web development platform. The box size set to 15 results in quite a bit of padding on the right side, enough to mess up displays for FF on *Ubuntu only. Chrome does not have this problem running on *Ubuntu's

Problem exists for Releases 10.04, 10.10, 11.04 (this system) as well as 11.10
