Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.10 Unity Desktop
qBittorrent v2.8.4

As far as I can tell, there is no way to reopen the gui from the system tray. This makes "minimize to tray" and "close to tray" useless. When you click on the tray icon, there should be an option to "open gui".

I have found two workarounds for this:
1. Just use the web interface
2. Make sure it is set to confirm exit and select "exit" from the tray which makes it open the gui to ask if I really want to exit and then press "no" and the gui stays up.

solution
Right click and exit qBittorrent
browse to home. Locate .config/qBittorrent/qBittorrent.conf. right click 'open with text editor'. Scroll to heading [Preferences]

change values of these lines to false as below..
General\SystrayEnabled=false
General\CloseToTray=false
General\MinimizeToTray=false
General\StartMinimized=false
save/c;ose
execute qBittorrent! :)
