installer crashed

hp compaq nx8220

booted off a live DVD, hit "install linux mint", several keystrokes later it said "Installer Crashed".

i have the syslog and partman files, how do i submit it?

Please retry your installation with new media and if it still fails I'd recommend testing your CD drive with other media. There is nothing we can do about bad media and since creating a DVD resolved the issue for you it seems to have been bad media. Subsequently, I am closing the bug task.
