installer crashed

Bug Description

hp compaq nx8220

booted off a live DVD, hit "install linux mint", several keystrokes later it said "Installer Crashed".

i have the syslog and partman files, how do i submit it?

Please retry your installation with new media and if it still fails I'd recommend testing your CD drive with other media. created new DVD.

reinstall worked perfectly. :)

There is nothing we can do about bad media and since creating a DVD resolved the issue for you it seems to have been bad media. Subsequently, I am closing the bug task.
