Bug Description

This is converted from "feedback" on the Vostro 3450.

Hello, I've just installed Ubuntu 11.10 64Bit on my Dell Vostro 3450 for the third time, install all updates to "sudo apt-get update & & sudo apt-get upgrade".

I'm having problems with wireless, touchpad and my external Iomega HD 500GB USB3.0.

1) The wireless when I disconnect the keyboard shortcut (fn + f2), does not turn on again when the shortcut (fn + f2). The message "Device is not ready."

2) The touchpad, totally random crashes.

3) Ubuntu crashes (kernel-panic) when I start with my external Iomega HD 500GB USB3.0 when connected or connect it without having unmounted properly (I have two NTFS partitions in hd). (my hd is this: http://go.iomega.com/en-us/products/external-hard-drive-portable/ego-portable-series-usb-3/ego-black-usb-3/?partner=4760)

(Ive snipped off the rather lenghty log dumps that were posted to the question)
