The same happened to me, removing smplayer config (~/.config/smplayer) solved the problem.

Thanks Eric, I need some time to figure it out but you were/are right. Works perfect now.
To make it clear, I will post step by step tutorials

1. uninstall smplayer
2. go to home folder & press ctrl+H
3. go to .config folder & delete smplayer folder in it
4. install smplayer again 6 enjoy your favourite linux movie player ;)
