Bug Description
I downloaded a copy of LMDE201109 32-bit and 64-bit today and tried installing it in a virtual machine. I accepted all the default settings, and got a report that Grub had installed successfully and that I could restart the system. The only problem is: the installer had not set a boot flag on the new partition it had crated.
I reproduced the issue four times on both 32-bit and 64-bit variants.
The host system is VMware Fusion 4 on Mac 10.7.2.
