After upgrading to oneiric files compressed with natty could not be uncompressed.

To test: compress file with 2.6-3

fusecompress_offline -o fc_c:none hallo.txt

Upgrade to oneiric or download and build latest fusecompress from BerliOS
Try to uncompress file fails:
fusecompress_offline -o fc_d:none hallo.txt

void Compress::restoreLayerMap(): fd: 4
int Compress::open(const char*, int): Failed to restore LayerMap of file '/tmp/hallo.txt', exception: requested integer size exceeds type size: 99
File::release m_refs: 0
Compress::release m_refs: 0, m_IsCompressed: 0

noticed this trying to read an nfs mounted fusecompress shadow-dir mounted locally where the source was 11.04 and the client is 11.10 -- same error, I suspect the same cause -- this is a pretty unacceptable risk here, that a minor-version upgrade would instantly render any stored data as irretrievable!! people need to be warned: can someone call FOX news? :)

my 'fix' workaround to retrieve the data: find a prior version machine, export your fusecompress shadow-dir and mount over nfs, then mount that shadow-dir on the client under the previous version (ie 11.04) and quickly backup your data.
