Bug Description

Battery monitor in lxpanel package displays always 100% never mind if the battery is discharging or not.

There's a similar Debian bug already existing: #580509 for lxpanel version 0.5.5-1. Maybe the fix didn't make it upstream?

Hello,
I had the same problem (Ubuntu 12.04 Precise), I upgraded lxpanel to version 0.5.10-1 (quantal) and it seems to work correctly now (showing "41% charged, 1:22 until full" instead of "100%", and the green bar is not full now).
I didn't test during discharging yet.
