I had tested with a good old "pci audigy" : same problem ;-(

What can I do ?

the new kernel "3.0.0-13-generic-pae" has resolved my trouble ! thanks

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
