I'm reporting 'high power consumption in Oneiric when running on Lenovo E520' separately from the bug #760131

Lenovo E520 laptop I'm using has an Intel i7 2620M CPU and AMD Radeon HD 6630M switchable graphics chip but I turned this off by following http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1752202
More specifically http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?s=cf99e4261d426e3add7cb3413d0fd8f1&p=10832728&postcount=7 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10803370&postcount=27

In Windows 7, I normally have 5+ hours of battery life whereas in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric, it's barely 2 hours then dramatically drains.

According to bug #760131 , this user notices even higher power consumption on this laptop on Oneiric than on Natty, making this bug a duplicate of bug #818830.
