Internal nXML mode error in nxml-fontify

If I use nxml-mode to open a XSLT document the status line says it is "degraded" and my "*Messages*" buffer has the following lines:

The same happens with the following flags to emacs: "-q --no-site-file"

Just ran into this myself on a Feisty install. The character data elisp files all exist in /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/nxml-mode/char-name/unicode, but the equivalent directory of compiled elisp files does not exist under /usr/share/emacs21.

Putting compiled versions of the elisp under /usr/share/emacs21/site-lisp/nxml-mode/char-name/unicode gets rid of the problem. So it looks like a packaging bug (that these elisp files are not being compiled and installed to the correct location).

Uhm, sorry about just filing a duplicate. On https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/feisty/+source/nxml-mode/ it said there were no open bugs, so I didn't pay enough attention.

Anyway, is there any chance of an updated package, this really degrades the usefulness of the package badly?

Version rezound_0.12.2beta-10 from debian does work. Archive admins, please sync that version. Buildlog is attached.

According to the debian buglog, this bug has been fixed. Can someone please check if it is fixed in ubuntu as well?
