Menubar always shows when Marlin starts

Bug Description
Hi,
Regardless of whether the option is turned on or off, the menubar is always visible when Marlin is started up. If it was not selected before, clicking it twice removes the menubar.
It looks like the menubar appears a second after marlin starts.
I am running Gnome Shell on ubuntu 11.10

Hi Nicholas! This is a known issue. It is a bug with appmenu and not Marlin. The only solution (until upstream appmenu gets fixed) is to sudo apt-get remove appmenu-gtk appmenu-gtk3. Thanks for using Marlin and reporting your issue!
