Bug Description

I guess something failed when doing a routine update to installed packages. I don't think Update Manager prompted me about any problems, I only noticed the "crash" icon in the systray later.

This bug is caused by upgrading your kernel, which the old version of Virtualbox in Ubuntu 10.04 does not support. To avoid it you can either switch back to the kernel that Ubuntu 10.04 shipped with (2.6.32), or upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu with a newer kernel.
