Bug Description

This is my first bug report so if i'm doing something wrong,i'm sorry and i will take a mental note for next time:

On ubuntu 10.4 in both 6.0.1 and 6.0.3 (same custom module installed on both) using the web client (not tested in gtk)

I have a osv_memory wizard in a custom module;when a button that calls a function is clicked it runs the code and if it should encounter a raise osv.except_osv('Error','Message') displays it just fine. But if that first button should not encounter an error and reload the view (and also save the object to my knowledge) any subsequent call to any other function that has an osv except error doesn't pop up the message anymore. It does indeed stop the script in it's tracks, but i cannot see the message anymore and i can surely say it hits the command since i've used pdb to print an error message along with the raise error, if any other information is required i will report it back gladly! Cheers

Hello Wiz_KeeD ,

I have again checked this issue at my end.
I have used a Hr_attendance module sign in sign out
wizard and found that a Osv.except_osv is working at second stage
so I am closing this issue if you still face the same problem
the you can reopen this with more clarification.

Thanks for reporting.

Hello,

Unfortunately i don't, but i am glad this problem is not persistent in the 6.1 version.I was hoping maybe if anyone could guide me to the code where i can fix this problem myself or maybe a workaround so i can use it before 6.1 comes out and is stable. If not then that's ok and i'm glad i could do my share to the openerp community

Cheers!
