Compiz Grid drag behavior after snapping to the side

Hello dear Master's of Code,

I have a very annoying problem with one of the important features: the Compiz Grid.
After Snapping a window to the right or left side the dragging of function doesn't work properly: the window is resized to a different size and the mouse' position during the dragging is a lot higher then the titlebar.
This is really annoying if you are one of the people who loves this feature.

And the issue with the window width not being remembered is bug 964639. I suspect there are other older duplicates of that but can't find them right now.
