Bug Description
Laptop Compaq Presario C700 - Ubuntu 11.10
Bug chronology :
- The laptop is booted while plugged in an electrical outlet and without the battery.
- The battery (fully charged) is plugged into the laptop > the battery icon shows up but without any indication of charge.
- If the power cable is removed, the "critical battery" message shows up and computer immediately shuts down.
This problem does not occur if the battery is already plugged-in when booting the laptop.
