Opening hidden Pithos from Sound Menu requires double click to rehide

Bug Description
If the notification area icon is enabled, and Pithos is hidden using the icon. Opening Pithos from the Ubuntu Sound Menu requires two clicks to hide. Pithos still thinks it's hidden after being opened from the Sound menu.

This also happens when the Pithos window is opened via a DBus call (I have a keyboard shortcut mapped to it). Two clicks or alt-F4 commands (or a combination thereof) are required to close the window.
