Bug Description
after installing compizconfig settings manager and trying to resize the launcher icons unity crashed after reinstalling all things unity and then in console i typed unity --verbose --replace and it crashes

is it a multi monitor setup? Could you try the command 'unity --reset' and see if that resolves.
