Bug Description

Binary package hint: alsa-base

After the system boot the audio is discontinued.
After playing an mp3 for about 5 or 10 seconds I get this error,
and audio stop working!

Actually the only way to avoid the crash audio card is to use the irqpoll kernel parameter,
even if the sound is always "fragmented".

Without this parameter, also the pcmcia stop working after a little time.

I also tried to use the some driver parameters such buggy_irq, etc,
with no lucky.

Please ask for any question or test.

Excuse me for my ignorance,
but where I can find this fix and how can I applay it?
Or have I sinmply to wait for a kernel image update in my ubuntu feisty?

but after installing the new kernel releases (2.6.20-12.20),
the problem is still present :-(
