Unable to change column/window width when there are long titles in playlist

After adding a number of files to playlist (some of them have long titles) track name column in playlist had expanded to fit the longest name, and I wasn't able to make it narrow again. After setting focus to other window and then back I discovered that decibel's window itself had expanded so that it came out of 1024-pixel screen width and I wasn't able to resize the window (something like described there: https://bugs.launchpad.net/decibel-audio-player/+bug/792402). A bit later this bug ended with no my actions. I wasn't able to reproduce it. If I find some pattern in this behavior I will report it.
UPD: noticed that window become wider on track change. Sometimes I can decrease it's width, sometimes cannot.
