Bug Description

crash happens wether using gui or commandline, did do full update 0f 11.04 before without error.
commandline message after do-release-upgrade:
Es konnte nicht ermittelt werden, welche Systemaktualisierungen
verfügbar sind

An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be
caused by held packages.

This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

Wenn nichts von dem zutrifft, melden Sie bitte diesen Fehler, indem
Sie den Befehl »ubuntu-bug update-manager« in ein Terminal
eingeben.
Can rule out the first two, not completely sure about the last, but don't really think so, certainly not aware of it.

The following packages have been installed from ppas and may hold the upgrade:
libkdcraw-20
kdegraphics-strigi-plugins

Could you please remove them or install the version from the official archive and try upgrading again. Thanks

Hello,

yes, that was it, and digikam2 as well. Upgrade worked fine after that, only that it didn't automatically pull in nvidia kernel modules for kernel3, but I've had nvidia cards long enough to check that first thing, if X doesn't start after an update or upgrade.
Sorry it took so long, but couldn't get around to do the upgrade.
Thanks.

Hello again,

I miss a resolve button. I put it on fix released, if anybody please can change that if it's wrong. Ta.

Changed in update-manager (Ubuntu):
