xfs on / reported as unknown filesystem

Bug Description

mount doesnt recognize the filesystemtype of xfs system on /
OTOH everything works fine.

fstab entry:
/dev/hda5 / xfs defaults 0 1

ogra@monkey:~ $ mount
/dev/hda5 on / type unknown (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/dev/hda3 on /home/ogra type ext3 (rw)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)
