Application menu is not shown in Unity

If GoldenDict is configured to start minimized in system tray, if I click its indicator and choose Show Main Window, in most cases (but not always) the main window is shown but doesn't get focus.

If this is the case, even after focusing the main window no application menu is shown in the panel at the top of the screen, only "GoldenDict". Also settings are not accessible (F4), and obviously nothing from the menu can be accessed either.

It affects the gnome-fallback or gnome-panel or gnome-classic envirorment. Sometimes it shows up on system tray, other times doesn't.
