Bug Description

After switching desktops using Unity-3D, the "orange shadow" effect for resizing windows appears when moving the pointer to the left or right side of the screen. It's important to choose the desktop with the mouse left button double-click to reproduce the bug. Right click doesn't show the bug. Sometimes it is also possible to see the bug while switching desktops (usually after the problem already appeared on the exact workspace), when the previews are shown. Then you can move the pointer to the top, right or to the left.

unity 4.22.0

Detailed steps to reproduce:

1) click the workspace switcher button in the launcher
2) select a workspace by double-clicking the left mouse button anywhere
3) selected desktop is shown
4) move the mouse pointer to the left or right side of the screen - the orange "haze" thing appears despite no window being dragged

Dragging a window in a way that causes the orange thing to appear (left/up/right) and then moving it back (without releasing the mouse button) makes the issue go away.

The issue is not 100% reproducible. It seems to depend on where exactly you double-click/window positions, but it happens quite often.

It doesn't seem to happen when you instead of left-doubleclick use right click to pick the workspace.
