sensible-brower just tries to launch gnome-www-browser if a gnome session is active, x-www-browser if X is running but a gnome session was not detected (or gnome-www-browser was not found) and finally www-browser in a terminal as a fallback.

I think that after installing Opera, it is now being used as gnome-www-browser and/or x-www-browser. You should be able to change these selections from the command-line using `sudo update-alternatives --config gnome-www-browser` and `sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser`.
