Bug Description
I had one window with 2 tabs open. I right clicked on a .py file, then selected "open with other application". The dialog box came up, and all it showed was gedit, so I just canceled out of it. Then both the dialog box and the window with 2 tabs both dissappeared ( I assume it was a crash ). And Yes this is a fresh install, only about a couple days ago.

Is this still reproducible by you? Could you provide a backtrace by gdb attaching to the nautilus process?
An example gdb session like following: (you need type in the part after "$" or "(gdb)" till line ends.)
$ pidof nautilus
8677
$ sudo gdb 2>&1 | tee gdb-nautilus.txt
(gdb) attach 8677
(gdb) cont
Continuing.
< reproduce the crash >
(gdb) backtrace full
