firefox/chatzilla crashes

Binary package hint: firefox

While compiling, ie high cpu load, and running firefox and chatzilla (in separate window)
firefox hangs. I can't reproduce at will but it happens frequently.

Chatzilla is not an extension that we can support as it is not in the Ubuntu repositories.

I know we dont support it but i cant be positive without the backtrace that it is what caused the crash.

Thank you for the bug report. Could you please install the firefox-dbg package and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Which flash package and version do you have installed?
Which Java package and version do you have installed?
Which video player and version do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions and themes do you have installed?

I can't reproduce it, but I've installed firefox-dbg and if I, by
chance, find a way to reproduce it I'll report.

flashplugin-nonfree 9.0.31.0.ubuntu1~edgy1

... and a lot of other video stuff, I have no idea what's relevant here.

We could not get any useful information out of your crash report (which can happen so no fault from your side). Feel free to open a new bug if you ever capture a crash report again.
