Clip/Videos properties window is too slow

Steps to reproduce:
- Start OpenShot
- Import a single .jpg image
- Move it to the timeline
- Right-click on it, select "properties"
- Click "cancel"
- Openshot takes 3!! seconds to close the window, although nothing changed.

That is on OpenShot 1.4.0, Ubuntu 11.04

This can't be changed, it is the time it takes for the OS environment to set the drawing area for SDL and for MLT to stop the video consumer in the properties window.

Full 3 seconds?

This is 2011. Computers can compute billions of chess operations in 1 second, and you're really telling me that 3 of those seconds are needed to close a window? An window that just displays an image?

A amelioration could be done with our future library. This one will be multi-core and globally will increase Openshot generally. But we can not affirm you if this will be effectively the case for that. We hope. Crossed Fingers.
