Bug Description

When the packaging was updated to get rid of gir-repository-dev (or whatever it was called), and use gir files from the main library sources, the gir1.0-avahi-0.6 support got lost in the shuffle. It would be nice to have it back.

quantal has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any updates. Marking the quantal task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".
