Bug Description

I hope the package is right. See also: http://askubuntu.com/questions/48100/my-dash-does-not-show-recent-applications-what-can-i-do-to-fix-that (not created by me). Basically when I click on the Dash and select "More Apps", I only see the "Installed" and "Apps available for download" categories, the "Recently used" category is no longer shown. Not that it helped much when it was, as the main application I open there, GNOME terminal, somehow never made it into the "Recently used" category, but that is probably matter for a different report.

My apologies. After deleting the Zeitgeist file, reinstalling unity-place-applications and unity-place-files and a reboot (well, a kernel crash, and the crash kernel still won't start), most frequently used is back again. Though it still refuses to remember that I like to start gnome-terminal in it.

The gnome-terminal issue looks weird. But good to know that you've fixed the zeitgeist issue.

Please file a new bug with zeitgeist on the gnome-terminal mismatch.
