Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.10 (amd64); gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg 0.10.12; libavcodec53 OR libavcodec-extra-53 (both yield same results for 10bit).
I expect to be able to see 10bit video, since it is supported since libav 0.7 and ffmpeg.
instead, the following error comes up:

Could not find GStreamer caps mapping for FFmpeg codec 'h264', and you are using an external libavcodec. This is most likely due to a packaging problem and/or libavcodec having been upgraded to a version that is not compatible with this version of gstreamer-ffmpeg. Make sure your gstreamer-ffmpeg and libavcodec packages come from the same source/repository.

this happens with absolutely any 10bit video, and a link to a sample is here:

http://www.cccp-project.net/beta/test_files/H.264-10bit-sample-railgun.mkv

tested in mplayer2 (works), and tested in totem (did not work).
