Login not possible for my user after upgrade to 11.10

When I try to log on, the screen gets black for a second and returns to the login screen.

Other users work, only mine is affected.

I try to attach ~/.xsession-errors and /var/log/lightdm/

It doesn't make any difference whether I try "Ubuntu", "Ubuntu 2d" or "Xubuntu"

Reading lightdm.log it might be a dupe of Bug #871667

I changed ownership of ~/.Xauthority from root to me and now I can log on.

Thus this bug is a dupe of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/871667 and can be closed.
