HR employee subordonate treeview doesn't work

install HR
human resources -> employee -> fabien pinckaers -> (sidebar)subordonate hierarchy
in new window, clicking on fabien pinckaers gives blank view

Which browser are you using? On this machine, I just get nothing happening when I click on the name in the hierarchy (single left click), which is in line with the behavior of the GTK client, but no blank view or anything like that.

The browser is chromium 12 on ubuntu.
by blank view I meant the lower right part of the interface shows no tree at all

Beware: in the current default data, there is no managerial relation set up, so by default you'll have a single row for "Fabien Pickaers". See screenshot for what should be displayed, it does look very empty as the tree is essentially empty.

If that is not what you see, could you take a screenshot or what is displayed?

this is more of a usability and demo data issue?
