Bug Description
I want to open a new instance of a program (VirtualBox) from the launcher, which is already registered as running because I have to virtual machines open. Normally I would just middle click, but due to bug #771716 this is impossible.
Two things should happen here:
#1: Bug #771716 is serious UI breakage at the ground level and should have been fixed two releases ago. Heck, it's probably only a two minute job for someone who knows what they're doing.
#2: There needs to be some redundancy, for example a right click option to open a new instance of any running program. Full functionality shouldn't depend on the particular pointing device the person is using.

And back to the LTS I go. I'll boot into 11.10 again to see if it's ready when I have time.
