Bug Description

When snapping a window to the left or right side, then activating expo (workspace switcher), if a different workspace is clicked (once) the snapped window will move to that workspace. Switching to the workspace will bring the window to the new workspace.

I haven't been able to replicate it, but one time this occurred I was unable to select the snapped window until I moved back to the original workspace (there was another active window in the new workspace).

Ubuntu 11.10
Compiz 0.9.6
Expected: the snapped window should remain in its workspace
Actual: the snapped window switches workspaces along with me when using the Expo plugin

It looks like the bug is fixed in the compiz update pushed today. I do have backports enabled so I'm not sure if this is a stable branch release however.

This bug still affects me on three different computers (w/ different Graphic Adapters; Intel, Nvidia and ATI - so it does not seem to be caused by graphics/drivers)

This bug (or something similar, i.e., windows change workspace when in expo mode) also happens to me NVIDIA
my compiz version is:

1:0.9.6+bzr20110929-0ubuntu5

and
 compiz-plugins-main-default
Versión: 1:0.9.6-0ubuntu4

and it's one month after the "fix released" event (unless it is lying in oneiric-proposed)...
