Thanks for your bug report. The crash might be a corruption. Could you try to get a valgrind log for it with gnome-control-center-dbg installed? (you can follow the instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind for that)

Hi.

I succeeded to reproduce the crash more than twice today (it doesn't
happen always),
but I didn't succeed to catch the crash with Valgrid yet.
Anyways, I attach a valgrind log of a non crashed session.

BTW. I didn't find gnome-control-center-dbg. It appears that this
package doesn't exist in Feisty.

Thanks,
Nir.

The package name is gnome-control-center-dbgsym, the instructions to install it are on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Here it is. with symbols (I hope), but without a crash.

Thanks.

Did you try to send it by mail? That doesn't work with launchpad at the moment, could you attach it from the bug page?
