I just got, on my Ubuntu 11.10 test machine, a hard crash as per attached messages.

Thanks for the bug report, peterzay. Something to keep in mind for future bug reports is that the text you omitted in the kernel_bug_messages attachment is needed to debug kernel issues like this. Taking a picture of the screen and attaching the picture is often the best way to show the backtrace. However, this bug is a duplicate and I have enough information to fix the problem. Thanks again!
